Packaging

As well as designing still and sparkling 500ml and 1 litre bottles of Eden water, we also like the idea of designing a family package of 4 bottles that could be a fridge pack. Therefore, we have looked into how drinks are packaged in not only family fridge packs but also larger crates to try and give us some inspiration of what we could design ourselves.

This could simply be a plastic film around the 4 bottles or a bit of card that can be around the lids to hold the bottles together. This is something that we would like to look into once we have a final design as this could be something to finish the product off.

When we were looking around the shops at packaging we liked the idea of the wine boxes we looking at how the wine is sealed in the box.

Like with the images above this is an interesting way to package if we were to do a large family box of water, the opening for the box is quick and easy and with this you can then close the flap again so the tap part isn't on show.

This is another image that shows how we could package the bottles however this might be a waste of material. however we could make the plastic part smaller some how and only around half of the bottles.

I like this in packaging as its a simple way to have somewhere to hold the product, its not an extra bit of material needed its something that is involved in the design. If we were to do the cardboard box like the wine boxed this is something we could think about.

This is the idea I had to hold the plastic bottles together, its not as much plastic as the orange juice uses but this could be something to think about?
